My Quarantine Blog

Hello, world!

This is my blog. Again.

I started this blog in March 2020, after we cancelled our big celebration vacation leg by leg as the world suddenly came to a halt. Soon after, I was furloughed from my job as a professional baker and thought it seemed like a good time to redirect my energy into a new pet project.

I had always wanted to document the recipes I use from our growing cookbook collection in a way that’s more organized than my usual yellow legal pad scribbles. They’re useful while working in the kitchen, but not so easy to look back on.

So here are some recipes with random life updates peppered in. My blogging streaks never last long - I had merely hoped this would last the six weeks we were spending in quarantine rather than traveling, but here we are today!

Hopefully someone else can find the same utility from this collection as I do when I look back on it.
